Tatted Earrings -- Photos at last!

I was excited with my achievement.
These past two weeks have been exciting, I was not able to concentrate on anything else. I have more coming soon. As you will see below, all of you lovely tatters have influenced my work. I am now going to work on using the magic thread technique so that hiding the loose ends will be easier. At the moment I am fiddling with a very thin crochet hook and thanking God the metallic anchor threads are easy to manipulate.

Found some tiny beads in some interesting colors. Hope I can get the photos on for you to see soon. Thank you so much for all the encouragement!
Picked these Citrine stones below at a Rajastan trade fair, they had added deep pink stones. Dismantled the earrings to make my own. It was easy to make these as they had pierced a hole through the stones, unlike the red malachite below which does not have a hole through it and so I wrapped the wire around it!

These Jade and copper earrings were good. I finally got the earrings to fall straight. Its also due to the weight of the green jade beads. Used copper colored metallic thread and copper beads to embelish.

This Gold and blue glass beads earring were one of my sucesses after many attempts. Picked this pattern from Marilee's page 'Yarnplayers blog', thank you. Now I am struggling to get more of these blue glass beads. The earrings were admired at work and sunday service.

These earringsin Pink with blue glass beads are my current accomplishment! This pattern is picked from the Gutenberg edge pattern. Used the dimple yorkie technique for the top portion, but twisted it out and upward and added some length before attaching the hooks.

Here are the Red Malachite earrings and is my first attempt at working with wire and Needle Nose Pliers! These stones have history. Bought them at Sopa Lodge in Arusha, Tanzania while on safari in 2001, work related and fun! They were selling them by midget bucket fulls of assorted semi precious stone, only draw back they are not pierced.
